Michelle is a proactive legal professional with 19 years of diverse experience as an attorney, including 14 years as an in-house attorney for large health care corporations. Currently, she serves as regional legal counsel for Aetna’s Great Plains Medicaid region and is an integral part of the Aetna Health Operations legal team. She provides legal guidance and direction to Aetna Medicaid’s leadership regarding complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Her areas of expertise include Medicaid Managed Care, HIPAA & ERISA, Health Insurance Law, Health Benefit Programs, Risk Management, and Federal & State Regulations related to health law.

This meeting and CLE is open to all HPA members, and non-member paralegals, legal assistants, paralegal students, and other legal support staff. Reservations are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday immediately preceding the event. If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so before this deadline. If your registration is not canceled before the deadline, you will be responsible for the full registration fee since HPA is required to pay that amount to the venue.
Payment may be made online by credit or debit card, or by cash or check at the door. Please do not mail your payment unless you must do so because of a last minute cancellation.
